Thijs de Klijn Quintet

Thijs de Klijn studied jazz guitar in Utrecht and Berlin. The quintet was born when he was living and studying in Berlin and started writing music for some  musicians he had met there and really liked. While maintaining a distinct and raw band sound, they move between African grooves, free jazz, swing and rock, and everywhere else they want to go. Their debut album is released early 2018 on Flyin’ High Records.
