With a master in ecology in his pocket, Coen decided to follow his other love, music. At age 27 he was admitted at the conservatory of Amsterdam where he studied jazz saxophone, and also picked up the flute and clarinet. After his graduation he mainly worked as a multi-instrumentalist and sideman in a diversity of musical projects and theatre productions.

Covid whiped Coen’s agenda clean, and he decided to use this period to realize an old dream: creating an album with his own music. The result, ‘Vanishing Point’, has now arrived.
