Preceding their long awaited debut album ‘Annie get your gun’, Dutch nu-jazz group Scallymatic Orchestra release their supersong ‘All I can give‘. It is one of their latest gems: a pretty unique colaboration with the talented Benny Sings (Dox/SonarKollektiv). It’s an almost poppy jazzsong, based on a bass- and piano riff, with a chorus you’ll keep singing and whistling all day. We think it definitely has the potential of becoming the next summer hit!
This one won’t be on the album! Only on limited 7″ vinyl, and as digital release, remixed by some of Holland’s finest.
The Jazzinvaders hardly need introduction. The project of producer/drummer Phil Martin together with Dutch jazzheroes the HoudiniÕs has proven succesful from the first moment they met. Their typical dancefloor jazz is a big hit on jazzfloors across the globe; from Tokyo to the Jazzcafe in London. And in Dordrecht of course!-)
Black Gold 360 is the jazz meets electronica project of UK producer Simon Sixsmith. He just released his 2nd album ÔSuite SeventeenÕ, a beautiful spacey sample & live jazz trip on his own Beluga Recordings and Ropeadope. This remix shows how Scallymatic sounds in the Black Gold Universe: intense and edgy electronic cut-up jazz!
DJ Moto is the alter ego of Scallyman Mathijs Duringhof, former producer of MFPCollective, showing his love for electronica. First he wrote the original music, now he mixes it up to a deep and funky analog bass and synth drenched cosmic discotrack.
